The Opportunity
Fulfill a demonstrable need for affordable, University-area housing in a challenging urban environment, using modular construction techniques.
The Approach
By identifying potential obstacles of a high-cost-to-build downtown locale, and applying knowledge from nearby modular construction projects, Crossbeam provided well-appointed apartments for students and area employees.
The Results
The modular project was successfully delivered six months earlier than traditional “stick” building, with significantly lower construction costs.
